Grappling with Tragedy is a series of articles that deal with unfortunate, tragic incidents that have occurred throughout the history of professional wrestling. It is unlike the ‘Wrestling with Sin’ series that deals more with the seedier side of wrestling like arrests, murders and suicides. Grappling looks more at particular tragic incidents that have in some instances altered pro wrestling in some way.
Jordan Saint

Jordan Nasir had a lifelong passion for professional wrestling and an unquenched thirst of knowledge for the wrestling business. Jordan was trained and debuted as a pro in May of 2022. He competed under the ring alias of ‘The Black Flash’ Jordan Saint. Jordan had immense speed and agility and was a favorite on the independent circuit for promotions such as Pandemonium Pro Wrestling and Naptown All Pro Wrestling.

When he wasn’t electrifying fans with his high intense skill set inside the ring, Jordan Saint was studying and learning on how to improve as a wrestler and entertainer. His friend and wrestling colleague had this to say about who Jordan Saint was as a wrestler and a person…“Jordan was the embodiment of the passion of pro wrestling. The passion that all drives us to love, watch or to even step in the ring and do this. Jordan was Jordan every single day. He was 100% himself. 100% unapologetic and wore his heart on his sleeve and never compromised himself for anyone.“

Jordan had the biggest break of his young career, when he was booked to wrestle in Las Vegas on Wrestlemania weekend for an indie promotion. Jordan took sometime off from wrestling to deal with personal issues, but returned soon after in January of 2026. He said of his time away…“Professional wrestling was the only real love of my life. I didn’t want to step away, but life lifed.” Sadly on June 12, 2026 while driving in his hometown of Long Island, New York, a vehicle on the opposite side of the road lost control and crashed head on with Jordan’s car. He soon died from his injuries. Jordan ‘Sant’ Nasir was just 23 years old at the time of his death.
