Wrestling with Sin: 573

Brian Damage

This is the 573rd installment of the ‘Wrestling with Sin‘ series. A group of stories that delves into the darker, underbelly of pro wrestling. Many of the stories involve such subjects as sex, drugs, greed and in some cases even murder! As with every single story in the Sin series, I do not condone or condemn the alleged participants. We simply retell their stories by researching interviews, newspapers, magazines and various other sources of media.

Monster Masha

Former TNA Knockouts champion Masha Slamovich was accused of mentally and physically abusing her ex boyfriend…fellow wrestler AKIRA. A series of texts between the couple were revealed on social media, as well as wounds AKIRA allegedly suffered at the hands of Masha. The content, however, was not leaked by AKIRA, but a friend of his. Some of the alleged abuse included Masha hitting Akira with a frying pan, clawing at him while he was driving and punching him in the mouth during a heated argument.

After the texts and photos were leaked, Masha was suspended from TNA upon the company doing an internal investigation. The official statement from TNA was “We take any allegations like this very seriously, and have begun an internal investigation.” Mash also was dropped from a few independent bookings because of the situation. Masha would release her own statement on the allegations…

AKIRA responded to the situation by saying he still loved her and doesn’t wish her any “ill will” and asked wrestling fans to do the same. The accusations against Masha did not end with domestic violence. Another friend of AKIRA accused Masha of cheating on AKIRA with another wrestler named Matthew Justice and that she allegedly split with AKIRA by phone while having sex with Justice.

Samoan Die Nasty

The widow of former WWE star Umaga lashed out against her former brother in law Rikishi and the entire Anoa’i family. This was in response to Rikishi going on his podcast and criticizing his nephew and son of Umaga…wrestler Zilla Fatu after he made his debut for TNA wrestling. Rikishi said that Zilla needed to get in better shape if he wanted to ever set foot in a WWE ring.

Zilla’s mother L.T. Fatu did not take kindly to Rikishi’s critique of her son and went on social media to tell Rikishi to take a look in the mirror. She said, “So Rikishi wants Zilla Fatu to come to WWE in tip top shape? Fuck him! Tell him to go fucking run a fucking lap. Who gives a fuck what his uncle says?” She continued to blast other members of her late husband’s family. She said she stopped talking to everyone in that family after Umaga passed away. She accused the family of capitalizing on her husband’s death and made money off him, while cutting her and her kids off. She said she has been thinking about writing a book exposing how dirty and deceiving the Anoa’i family really is.

No Laughing Matter

Bill DeMott aka ‘The Laughing Man’ Hugh Morrus recalled his days in WCW and how drugs played a big part in his everyday life. DeMott said he overdosed close to 10 times and should ‘ve died from drugs years ago. He popped various prescription pills including Somas, Oxycontin and Vicodin. DeMott said after matches he would take about 10 pain pills and wash them down with vodka and grapefruit juice.

When WCW traveled overseas, DeMott made sure to take plenty of pills to get him through the tour, along with a big bag of cocaine. He said his main goal was to feel good partying, but made sure not to cause any disturbances with being high and refrained from acting out at bars, restaurants and airports. He said by being very lowkey with his drug use…it allowed him to continue taking as much as he wanted everyday.

Tik Tok…You’re Foked!

An independent wrestler based out of Arkansas named ‘Tik Tok Tommy’ or ‘T3’ for short was arrested after local police were investigating a complaint from a mother that the wrestler was trying to get in contact with her 14 year old child. Tik Tok Tommy real name Thomas Ashcraft cooperated with police and handed over his phone to be looked at. Ashcraft insisted he didn’t attempt to sexually seduce the 14 year old, just that he liked to keep in contact with his fans and felt like a father figure to them.

After police took his phone, they discover multiple photos of underage girls ranging from 12-15 years old in various sexually explicit poses. Upon further investigation, Ashcraft was convicted in 2010 of sexual solicitation/indecency with a child and ordered to register as a sex offender. He continually failed to register as a sex offender and was charged three times for it. Ashcraft is currently being held in jail on a bond of $150,000. He is facing six felony charges of distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. He is also being charged as a habitual offender.

Rikishi is truly a worthless POS. Starting to sound lie the whole family is. Masha was booked for a convention, then almost immediately dropped due to the backlash. Tik Tok Tommy is indictive of a big pedo problem that the indies seem to be having now. Disgusting.

  • If Zilla Fatu’s mom wants her son to make it, she needs to be more like Nia Jax’s mom…
