She was an amateur model, turned actress, turned WCW personality and backstage interviewer. Today on the blog, we ask…’Whatever happened to’ Pamela Paulshock?

Pamela Paulshock was born and raised in the Baltimore, Maryland area. She attended Syracuse University where she graduated with a degree in Visual and Performing Arts. While she was in school, Paulshock did some modeling and competed in bikini contests to earn extra income. In 1994, she appeared in a non nude photo in Playboy magazine and also appeared in some fitness magazines.

After graduating, she appeared in some small roles in low budget films and tv shows. While competing in a bikini contest, Paulshock was discovered by then WCW executive Terry Taylor who invited her to audition for some background work with the wrestling promotion. She agreed, feeling that the exposure would help advance her acting career. She got the WCW gig and became an nWo girl, which were basically valets/cheerleaders for the Silver and Black New World Order faction.

Eventually, that transitioned into Paulshock becoming an exclusive member of ‘Big Poppa Pump’ Scott Steiner’s Freaks that escorted him to the ring. When that group got whittled down to just Midajah and Shakira, Paulshock was offered a spot as a neutral backstage interviewer. To prepare for the role, Paulshock went under the tutelage of the late, great ‘Mean’ Gene Okerlund.

While initially very green, Paulshock started to develop more of her own personality and her interviewing role expanded further on both WCW Thunder and Nitro. She would be involved in a small feud with Major Gunns aka Tylene Buck and would compete in WCW bikini contests.

So the question remains….whatever happened to Pamela Paulshock? While Pamela’s time with WCW was brief, only appearing for about a year in the company’s dying days…she did develop a small fan following. After leaving WCW, Paulshock started getting more roles in TV and Movies including the X Files, Big Fat Liar and also became a spokesperson for an electronics company. Pamela is more lowkey now focusing more on her family life. She married TV and radio host Roger Lodge in 2007 and had two children. Her and her family reside in Southern California.
