Professional wrestling has been filled with second, third and even fourth generation wrestlers. Some have made it bigger than their family members, while others have flopped badly. We have already covered seven installments of this in past with Volume 1, Volume 2, Volume 3, Volume 4, Volume 5 , Volume 6, Volume 7 and Volume 8 Some made it, while others faltered. These up and coming generational wrestlers are for the most part lesser known than say the more established ones like The Rock, Bray Wyatt and Joe Hennig. Who will rise and who will fall in the latest list of pro wrestlers with a legacy to uphold?
Anakin Rosa – Son of Thunder Rosa
Anakin Rosa is the son of AEW star Thunder Rosa. He was trained by former ECW and WWE stars Rodney Mack and Jazz. Anakin currently wrestles on the Texas independents.
Austin Wright -Son of CW Anderson
Austin Wright is the son of former ECW star CW Anderson. He currently works in the southern independents.
Brian Hardy – Son of Barry Hardy
Brian Hardy is the son of former frequent WWF enhancement talent Barry Hardy. Brian was trained by Duane “Gillberg” Gill and himself has made appearances on WWE TV as enhancement talent.
Princess – Daughter of James King
Princess is the daughter of British wrestler/promoter and trainer James King. She currently competes in the United Kingdom for an independent group called Bellatrix Female Warriors.
Jarron Fulton – Son of Bobby Fulton
Jarron Fulton is the son of the Fantastics Bobby Fulton and made his debut in April of 2023 challenging Ricky Morton’s son Kerry Morton for the NWA Jr Heavyweight title.
Thamiko Fatu – Son of Rikishi
Thamiko Fatu is another son in the “bloodline” of WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi joining his brothers Jimmy and Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa. He was rained by his father and has just started taking bookings in 2023.
‘J Dawg’ Jeff Brooks – Son of Rusty Brooks
J Dawg Jeff Brooks was trained by his father…the late WWF enhancement wrestler Rusty Brooks. He has competed mainly in the southeastern indy promotions.
Manuel ‘El Hijo del Legado’ Rodriguez – Son of Victor the Bodyguard
Manuel Rodriguez is the son of the late Victor the Bodyguard…a pro wrestler who competed solely in Puerto Rico. Like his late father, Manuel is a fixture on the island and wrestles exclusively there.
AJ Cazana -Great Grandson to John Cazana and son to Joe Cazana
AJ Cazana is a third generation wrestler with his great grandfather John competing in the 1930’s and 40’s…then skipped a generation to his father wrestler/promoter Joe. AJ currently works for Billy Corgan’s NWA.
Zilla Fatu – Son of Umaga
Zilla Fatu is the son of the late WWE star Umaga aka Eddie Fatu and is currently enrolled in Booker T’s school Reality of Wrestling based in the Houston, Texas area.
Jaden Funaki – Son of Sho Funaki
It was announced recently on social media, that former wrestler and current Japanese announcer for WWE programming Shoichi Funaki’s son Jaden has enrolled in wrestling school. Jaden is currently training with his father in San Antonio, Texas’ Hybrid School of Professional Wrestling.
