Professional wrestling has been filled with second, third and even fourth generation wrestlers. Some have made it bigger than their family members, while others have flopped badly. We have already covered three installments of this in past with Volume 1, Volume 2, Volume 3Volume 4 and Volume 5. Some made it, while others faltered. These up and coming generational wrestlers are for the most part lesser known than say the more established ones like The Rock, Bray Wyatt and Joe Hennig. Who will rise and who will fall in the latest list of pro wrestlers with a legacy to uphold?

Joe Bailey – Son to William Regal

Joe Bailey started his wrestling career in 2018 and is currently a ‘Young Lion’ training at the New Japan Dojo. Before joining New Japan, Bailey wrestled a handful of matches in the United Kingdom.

Kerry Morton – grandson of referee Paul Morton and son of Ricky Morton

Kerry Morton is currently 19 years old and was trained by Dr. Tom Prichard, Robert Gibson and Bobby Eaton. He is a third generation wrestler with his grandfather Paul a referee/trainer and of course his father being one half of the Rock N Roll Express.

George South Jr – Son of George South

George South Jr is the son of famed Jim Crockett enhancement talent George South Sr. George Junior was trained by his father who runs a wrestling school in the Carolinas. Junior mainly works for several southern independent promotions.

Vinny Poling – Son of Al Poling aka ECW’s 911

Vinny Poling was trained by his father 911 and has wrestled under the name of ‘Dominic Truex.’ Poling usually wrestles for several indie promotions in the northeast of the country.

Peter Maivia Jr. – Son of High Chief Peter Maivia

Peter Maivia Jr is the son of WWE Hall of Famer High Chief Peter Maivia. He has been wrestling for several years and was actually trained by his father before his death. Maivia Jr has had some personal issues with other members of his family over the years. He is currently semi retired, but is still active in the ring.

Shota Umino – son of New Japan referee Hiroyuki ‘Red Shoes’ Unno

Shota Umino was trained in the New Japan Dojo. His father is the legendary New Japan referee Red Shoes Unno. Shota was recently involved in matches with Jon Moxley as his sidekick while Moxley was competing in New Japan.

Bronson Rechsteiner = son of Rick Steiner and nephew of Scott Steiner

The final entry for this volume is Bronson Rechsteiner aka Bronson Steiner who was trained to wrestle by former ECW star Johnny Swinger. His pro wrestling career has been sidetracked for the time being because Bronson signed a contract to play football in the NFL for the Baltimore Ravens next season.
