Grappling with Tragedy is a series of articles that deal with unfortunate, tragic incidents that have occurred throughout the history of professional wrestling. It is unlike the ‘Wrestling with Sin’ series that deals more with the seedier side of wrestling like arrests, murders and suicides. Grappling looks more at particular tragic incidents that have in some instances altered pro wrestling in some way.

Crisstopher Crow

Dallas David Lee Bulmer began his pro wrestling career just four days after his 18th birthday in 2007. Bulmer took the ring name of ‘The Freakshow’ Crisstopher Crow and wrestled primarily on the independent circuit in the state of Oklahoma. Bulmer’s brother was also a pro wrestler under the name of ‘Drake Gallows.’ Crisstopher Crow had several finishing maneuvers including the F5 and the cradle powerbomb.

On June 22, 2011….Bulmer was involved in a car cash that sadly took his life. He left behind a wife and two small children. His last post on social media was…‘Everyone has a purpose. Stop and think, what’s yours?’ Dallas David Lee Bulmer was just 21 years old at the time of his death.
