The Price is Wrong
TKO President Mark Shapiro stated that WWE ticket prices will most likely be on the rise. He is was a bit critical of former WWE owner Vince McMahon for losing money by making ticket prices “family friendly.” Shapiro wants to make wrestling events priced like the UFC model. To me, that is absolutely insane and will I think eventually kill the WWE brand. Professional wrestling SHOULD BE affordable to fans. Sure, it is always cool to see a celebrity hanging in the crowd, but the fact of the matter is WWE is not the UFC and Shapiro is going to probably find out the hard way.
Once you price out the loyal fanbase, what you get might fade away if the company ever gets itself in a creative rut. Honestly, they just may be starting down that path anyway. Say what ever you want about Vince McMahon as a human being and even as a promoter the last few years he was calling the shots creatively, but you had to admire that he wanted all fans to have access to his shows.
Nowadays, everything has some corporate sponsor attached to WWE. Whether on the mat of the ring, the banners outside of the ring and even the tables they use as weapons have Slim Jim all over it. I get that wrestling is a business to make money, but professional wrestling is absolutely nothing without a loyal fanbase regularly going to events. If AEW can somehow capitalize on the exorbitant prices WWE charges and offer a more cost effective product with just as many stars and family friendly atmosphere…I can easily see AEW get back to where they once were. Remember, the reason AEW came to be, was to be the opposite of WWE and Vince McMahon. An alternative product.
Best Wishes to the King

Recently, Jerry Lawler suffered another stroke. He has since been released from the hospital and recovering at his home. We wish Lawler nothing but good health moving forward.

Not glitches, more about functions. Mainly to drive more comments, the comments section just isn’t what it used to be. You’d drive it up if you “advertise” it more, like a comment count under the article link or perhaps a last five or ten comments list somewhere on the side.
Personally, I really hate that only the titles are clickable and not the photos.

Elektra Lopez is a work of Art damn she’s absolutely beautiful. Thoughts are with Lawler hope he’s on the right road to recovery.
Am excited with the ongoing rise for TNA, they are putting on some quality matches lately with an under-rated roster & some fresh changing storylines – Maclin’s doing great things with their International Title, Young’s heel run is decent also Mustafa Ali’s too. Leon Slater as X division champ is a good sign for the future as long as he keeps getting quality opponents – this division needs more exciting matches. The women are still making waves – Grace & Hudson are great talent that deserve better matches while Indi is getting a great push. Just a matter of time if Santana gets the World title push too. Exciting time ahead TNA

I for the longest time have wondered just how the hell fans could afford WWE tickets. So it looks like it is getting worse. Yes, it’s insane.

Alice aged better than Trish…
BD, you planning on any improvements to the site from a technical standpoint, or are we stuck with what we’ve got now?

It’s definitely a work in progress. I apologize for any glitches. My hope is to have this site much like it originally was.
