This is the 254th installment of the ‘Wrestling with Sin‘ series. A group of stories that delves into the darker, underbelly of pro wrestling. Many of the stories involve such subjects as sex, drugs, greed and in some cases even murder! As with every single story in the Sin series, I do not condone or condemn the alleged participants. We simply retell their stories by researching interviews, newspapers, magazines and various other sources of media.
The Four Whore Men

In 1987, during the NWA’s two day Crockett Cup tournament in Baltimore, Maryland….Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen planned their own tournament of sorts. They rented the top floor penthouse of the Inner Harbor Marriott hotel. During the first night of the Crockett Cup, Flair got on the microphone and invited all women between the ages of 18 to 28 to come by the Marriott where the Horsemen were staying. That night, over 300 women showed up to the hotel and filled the lobby.

Flair and the Horsemen prepared for the festivities by paying for a bouncer/doorman to monitor who was coming up to their penthouse suite. Some women came with their husbands and/or boyfriends and were told by the bouncer they either had to leave their man downstairs or they would not gain access. Some women actually left their partners downstairs and made the trek up to meet Flair and the Four Horsemen. Once inside the penthouse, there was just the Horsemen and a lot of naked women having sex and partying all night for the next two days.

The “event” was such a success, that Ric Flair decided to do it in almost every town they were at. It became a marathon of sex and booze for the Four Horsemen that year. So much so, that Flair says their personal limo driver dropped dead of a heart attack from being on call 24/7 day and night.
Turn That Crown Upside Down

Steve Keirn had a very successful career competing in various territories including Florida and Memphis. Keirn also wrestled for the NWA, AWA, WCW and the WWF. While wrestling in Memphis, Keirn claims his career was almost sabotaged by Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. Keirn never exactly knew why, but he believes it was all due to professional jealousy.
According to Keirn, Lawler went behind his back and complained to Memphis promoter Jerry Jarrett and accused Keirn of wiping his ass with his paycheck intimating that Keirn was upset that his pay was so low. After Jarrett confronted Keirn about the incident…Keirn got angry and went after Lawler. He claims he saw the King face to face and demanded to know why he lied to Jerry Jarrett. The two nearly came to blows and had to be separated without getting a satisfactory explanation.

Fast forward to a few years later and both Steve Keirn and Jerry Lawler are employed by the WWF. A bunch of wrestlers wanted to pull a rib on Lawler and take a dump in his crown. Steve Keirn, who still had legitimate heat with Lawler, volunteered to due the job and did.
Stray Kat

It was supposed to be a match made in heaven. Two up and coming independent wrestlers start dating and support each other during the build up of their careers. Maxwell Jacob Friedman and Allie Kat are the couple in question. Friedman and Allie become serious and Friedman asked Allie to move in with him. Allie was originally from Washington state and MJF was from New York. Allie moves her whole life across the country to be with the man of her dreams.

This love story unfortunately does not have a ‘happily ever after’ attached to it. MJF’s career begins to really take off. He signs with the upstart All Elite Wrestling and suddenly becomes one of wrestling’s top heels. While MJF becomes a sought after wrestling commodity…Allie Kat is there to support him. According to Allie, MJF then apparently blindsides her by breaking up with her.

Some rumors swirled that MJF was fooling around with All Elite backstage interviewer Alicia Atout…but Atout was quick to dispel those rumors. Now living in a new city with no family, friends or a home to live in…Allie became depressed. So much so, she decided to quit pro wrestling. She has since reconsidered her stance and decided to return to the business she loves.
King of Old School Beat downs

In 2001, after ECW folded…’The King of Old School’ Steve Corino worked a small independent show. During his match, a group of fans dressed up as Insane Clown Posse Juggalos complete with face paint heckled Corino mercilessly. After his match concluded, one of the Juggalos got in Corino’s face and called him a gay slur. Corino snapped and as the Juggalo in question ran back into the stands…his friend “squared up” with the wrestler.

Corino grabbed the friend in a front face lock and proceeded to pummel him with lefts and rights. It took several wrestlers and security to take Corino off of the fallen Juggalo.
