This is the 382nd installment of the ‘Wrestling with Sin‘ series. A group of stories that delves into the darker, underbelly of pro wrestling. Many of the stories involve such subjects as sex, drugs, greed and in some cases even murder! As with every single story in the Sin series, I do not condone or condemn the alleged participants. We simply retell their stories by researching interviews, newspapers, magazines and various other sources of media.
Don’t turn your back on the Wolfpack

Nicola (Nick) Nero was a former competitive bodybuilder from Toronto, Canada, who left the industry because he said he got bored with it. Nero then turned his eyes to a career as a professional wrestler. He got his training from the Missing Link’s son and second generation wrestler Jason Sterling. After his training, he briefly wrestled on the Canadian indies, but once again walked away because he was impatient about not making money right away and instantly becoming a WWE superstar.

Instead, Nick Nero turned to a life of crime and quickly ascended to a top level drug kingpin in Canada. Nero was a part a gang called the Wolfpack Alliance. The Wolfpack Alliance were considered a very modern take on organized crime because unlike the mafia which only allowed Italians to join…the Wolfpack was made up of people from all ethnicities. Despite that, the Wolfpack Alliance were still ruthless criminals who dealt in drug trafficking among other crimes.

Nero and the Wolfpack joined forces with Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán and his Sinaloa drug cartel based in Mexico. Nero stood out as a gangster with his muscular physique and driving around the city of Toronto in a red Ferrari. In June of 2012, Nero and three other men shot and killed a fellow drug dealer named John Raposo in broad daylight in the Little Italy section of Toronto. Raposo was shot at least four times in the head. Raposo was involved in a drug shipment of 200 kilos of cocaine that Raposo was meant to split with Nero and the Wolfpack Alliance. The four men murdered Raposo to steal his percentage of the cocaine.

Ultimately, the Nick Nero and the three other men were arrested and charged with 1st degree murder. In 2017, they were all found guilty and given life sentences.
The Man of the Hour

Former WWE and AEW star Lio Rush made an announcement on social media in October of 2020. Rush wrote, “BY POPULAR DEMAND. I am officially on #OnlyFans” While OnlyFans is not just for adult content….it turned out Lio Rush’s was. It consisted of the wrestler partially and completely nude. The subscription price was $29.99 a month.

As quickly as his Onlyfans site went up…it just as quickly came down. Lio Rush has retired and comeback to pro wrestling a couple of times. He deleted several tweets advertising his Only fans page…as he is once again focused on his wrestling career.
Haas of Pain

While working for Ring of Honor in 2013, Charlie Haas got into a backstage altercation with a fellow wrestler named Grizzly Redwood. According to reports, Haas appeared intoxicated and started making fun of Grizzly in the locker room. It looked as if Haas was putting down Redwood because he was young, a bit inexperienced and an enhancement talent. Grizzly stood up for himself and that caused Haas to snap.

The incident turned into a physical altercation with ROH booker Hunter ‘Delirious’ Johnston stepping in and pulled Haas off of Redwood. Haas and Johnston then got into a verbal altercation that led Johnston to immediately fire Haas before his match. Haas demanded to wrestle his last match for Ring of Honor and Johnston begrudgingly agreed. Haas did the job for his opponent Jeff Neal and immediately afterwards took the house mic and began putting down Johnston, ROH announcer Kevin Kelly and Nigel McGuinness.
They eventually took the microphone away from Haas and he stormed off. Later on, Haas took to social media to announce his retirement from pro wrestling…
“Officially retired. No match against @Sheltyb803 nxt week NYC. Time to be a full time dad and husband. I’ve turned my spandex in for scrubs.
Thanks to all the fans throughout the years. I love you all. Stay safe and God bless. WGTT will always be a top Tag Team, forever.”
Orally Wrong

Marty Jannetty recalled a time when a bunch of the wrestlers were coming off a WWF tour and decided to have a small party at Jannetty’s place. During the course of the night, Jannetty and one of his lady friends, who he called “Tara” were starting to get intimate. Marty said that Tara started to give him oral sex. It was at this time that Jannetty claims Luna Vachon walked in on the couple and began to watch.

Jannetty claimed that Luna began fingering Tara while pleasuring Marty. Jannetty said that he was pretending to be the one doing the deed so as not to freak Tara out. That is when Luna began giving Tara oral and that caused Tara to scream and storm out of Marty’s place. Marty claimed that Luna did it as a joke, but his girlfriend didn’t find it funny at all.
