Back in the 80’s and 90’s, it was very common to see some no name wrestler go up against a proven star of a promotion. Whether that be from the WWF, NWA/WCW, AWA or elsewhere, these nomads of professional wrestling were there to make the stars look great. They were known as enhancement talent, preliminary wrestlers or as many fans have come to know them…”jobbers.” While fans were clamoring to see big time match ups, these “squash matches” served a very important purpose. While perhaps not appreciated at the time, they were just as important as the stars themselves.

Nora Greenwald started out her career in 1997 when she was trained by Dean Malenko. After a year wrestling on the independent circuit, Nora was given an opportunity to compete under the bright spotlight of the WWF in October of 1998. On an episode of Sunday Night Heat, Greenwald wrestled under the name of ‘Starla Saxton’ against Jacqueline in a losing effort. She was also used as enhancement talent that same year for WCW under the name ‘Starla’ against Malia Hosaka.

She was eventually signed by WCW in 1999, where she was made a valet to ‘The Macho Man’ Randy Savage as ‘Mona’ aka ‘Miss Madness.’ She was also used to legitimately help train Savage’s girlfriend/valet Gorgeous George. Miss Madness often interfered in Savage’s matches and wrestled the likes of Madusa and Asya. There really wasn’t a set women’s division in WCW and she was ultimately released by the company in 2000.

She was signed by the WWF in 2000 and was sent to developmental where she was the valet to William Regal as ‘Lady Ophelia.’ She was then called up to the main roster under the gimmick as the cousin to Bob and Crash Holly…Molly Holly.

She also wrestled as the super hero sidekick to Hurricane Helms as ‘Mighty Molly’ and would eventually win the WWE Women’s title on two occasions and the Hardcore title once. She was then inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame in 2021.
