Professional wrestling can be a very cyclical business. Many times you could be watching a match, a gimmick or a storyline and think to yourself…”I have seen this before.” Sometimes, you may be right, as many things in wrestling do get recycled over the years. Other times, it just may be something similar to something you saw years ago. In any case, Deja View looks at stuff that may or may not have been re-used in wrestling or something that was simply similar in nature that made you go…”Oh yeah, that’s where I remember that from.”
Former WWE star Mandy Rose, has certainly been a hot topic for discussion recently. She posed in numerous photos scantily clad and in many cases partially and or completely nude. When WWE management got word of the too hot for WWE pictures, Mandy Rose was released from her contract. Supposedly without any warning.
Now rewind to the late 1990’s and a very similar situation arose with then WWF personality and then wife of Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler….Stacy Carter. She posed in numerous states of undress. Carter was nude most of the time, showing off certain body parts. All of which you could view for free on Lawler’s website…KingLawler.com.
The difference between Mandy Rose and Stacy Carter, was back when Stacy posed nude, the WWF was in the middle of the ‘Attitude Era.’ Instead of firing her, the company took advantage of her willingness to pose in the buff and exploit it for all WWF fans to see.
